1. Manuscript Formatting

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
  • Font & Size: Times New Roman, 12-point, double-spaced
  • Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
  • Page Numbers: Top-right corner

2. Content Requirements

  • Title Page: Title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact
  • Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing purpose, methods, results, and conclusion
  • Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords
  • Main Sections: Organized with headings (Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)
  • References: Chicago Manual of Style (17th Edition)

3. Chicago Citation Style

Use Chicago Notes and Bibliography format for all references

4. Figures and Tables

  • Tables: Numbered and titled; placed within text after citation
  • Figures: Numbered, captioned, and high-resolution (300 dpi minimum)

5. Scope of Topics

We accept studies on Biblical Aramaic, such as linguistic analysis, historical context, textual criticism, and interpretive methods. Articles should offer new insights, methodologies, or contributions to the field.

6. Submission and Review

Submissions are peer-reviewed. Decisions are typically provided within 8–10 weeks.

    • 4–6 keywords that best describe the manuscript’s content are listed.
  4. Main Sections

    • The manuscript is organized into clear sections (e.g., Introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion).
  5. Citation and References

    • All citations and references conform to the Chicago Manual of Style (17th Edition), Notes and Bibliography format.
    • All in-text citations have corresponding references in the bibliography.
  6. Figures and Tables

    • Figures and tables are numbered and included in the main text where referenced.
    • Captions for each figure and table are provided, and all images meet the resolution requirement (minimum 300 dpi).
  7. Copyright and Conflicts of Interest

    • The submission is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
    • Any potential conflicts of interest are declared, and copyright terms are agreed to.
  8. Ethical Considerations

    • Any research involving human participants has been approved by relevant ethics committees, and necessary permissions are obtained.
