- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.

2. Responsibilities of Reviewers

- Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must notify the editor if they have any conflicts of interest with the authors or content of a manuscript.
3. Responsibilities of Editors
- Fairness: Editors must evaluate manuscripts based solely on academic merit, without bias toward the author’s gender, ethnicity, nationality, or other personal characteristics.
- Confidentiality: Editors must keep information regarding submitted manuscripts confidential.
- Decision Making: Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on the validity of the work, its contribution to the field, and reviewer feedback.
- Conflict of Interest: Editors must disclose any conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where such conflicts exist.
4. Handling of Misconduct
- Any suspected misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, data manipulation) will be investigated thoroughly. JIBAS reserves the right to reject or retract articles in cases of ethical violations.
- Authors may be asked to provide additional data or information to confirm the validity of their work.
5. Transparency and Openness
- JIBAS is committed to transparency in its publication process, and any changes to these ethics guidelines will be communicated clearly to authors, reviewers, and readers.
By adhering to these ethical standards, JIBAS aims to promote trust and integrity in the publication of scholarly work.
