Analisis fasilitas dan kegiatan pembelajaran siswa di SLB C Abdi Kasih kota Medan

Abstract
Pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus di Indonesia terus berkembang melalui keberadaan Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) yang menyediakan fasilitas sesuai kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis fasilitas dan kegiatan pembelajaran di SLB C Abdi Kasih, Medan, dalam mendukung minat belajar anak berkebutuhan khusus. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, serta dokumentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa SLB C Abdi Kasih memiliki fasilitas memadai seperti ruang kelas, keterampilan, dan olahraga, meski beberapa seperti toilet masih perlu perbaikan. Kegiatan seperti menari, bernyanyi, renang, pramuka, dan outing class mampu meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Namun, dibutuhkan variasi kegiatan tambahan guna menunjang perkembangan holistik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kolaborasi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat serta pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran, agar SLB C Abdi Kasih semakin optimal dalam mendukung perkembangan anak berkebutuhan khusus.
