Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai interpretasi teologis terhadap Imamat 18:22 dalam konteks perdebatan etika Kekristenan kontemporer, khususnya terkait isu homoseksualitas dan relasi sesama jenis. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif berbasis studi literatur dengan menelaah buku dan artikel jurnal bereputasi yang merepresentasikan pendekatan konservatif, progresif, dan teologi queer. Analisis dilakukan melalui pemetaan, perbandingan, dan sintesis terhadap kerangka hermeneutika serta implikasi etis dan pastoral dari masing-masing pendekatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interpretasi terhadap teks ini bersifat dinamis dan dipengaruhi oleh interaksi antara tradisi teologis, metode penafsiran, dan konteks sosial. Pendekatan konservatif menekankan kesinambungan hukum moral, sementara pendekatan progresif dan queer membuka ruang interpretasi yang lebih kontekstual dan inklusif. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa perdebatan mengenai Imamat 18:22 merupakan bagian dari diskursus teologis yang terus berkembang tanpa menghasilkan konsensus tunggal.
