Klaim Suksesi Apostolik dalam Orthodox Catholic Church of the New Age (OCCNA): Analisis Historis terhadap Rantai Tahbisan Malankara–Vilatte

Penelitian ini menganalisis klaim suksesi apostolik dalam Orthodox Catholic Church of the New Age (OCCNA) melalui rekonstruksi historis rantai tahbisan Malankara–Vilatte. Kajian ini berangkat dari kekosongan historiografis dan fragmentasi analisis yang sering mencampuradukkan kesinambungan genealogis tahbisan dengan legitimasi kanonis. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan historis-kritis berbasis analisis sumber primer dan sekunder, disertai evaluasi normatif-eklesiologis untuk membedakan antara validitas sakramental dan pengakuan institusional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rantai tahbisan dari konteks Malankara yang berelasi dengan Syriac Orthodox Church hingga kepada Joseph René Vilatte memiliki koherensi historis dan konsistensi ritus episkopal. Namun, terjadi diskontinuitas yurisdiksi ketika jalur tersebut berkembang dalam jaringan gereja independen Barat. Kesimpulannya, klaim suksesi apostolik OCCNA memiliki basis historis dan validitas sakramental, tetapi berada di luar struktur komunio kanonis gereja apostolik arus utama, sehingga evaluasinya menuntut pembedaan konseptual yang tegas antara sejarah, sakramentalitas, dan legitimasi eklesial.
